Artist's Comments
This is a sculpture of Rock that I found while walking the Wonderland Trail in Mount Rainier National Park. I took a 20 mile hike over 2 days through the back woods with no trails, meeting up with the Wonderland Trail the second day of the hike. After having been slightly confused and nervous about my location for a good chunk of the previous day, the Zen man was a wonderful calming sight to come upon. The mist in the valley behind him made the scene especially beautiful.
